I had a really hard time getting it together this year! But this is what is happening in the shop. Starting with a small Moon and Firefly release (TOMORROW) November 21st at 7:00. Anything that’s left will be 15% off next week during the Black Friday madness. And then I will FINALLY have a print release for the Deer and the Nest on December 4th!!

Day 56

Still working on this grasshopper. I am behind on #marchmeetthemaker, ugh. I will get back on track tomorrow. I have had such a busy week. We started remodeling our bathroom. And I have tried to keep my kids out of the house because of all the noise. I am ready for the weekend. Hopefully I can get in my studio for a bit. 😬🙏

Day 51

My pendants are finally going into the electroform bath today! I am SO excited. After a year of experimentation, I will finally be able to release a real collection of jewelry. Each of these pieces encapsulates a little bit of my heart and soul. I can’t wait to share them with you!

Day 49

Today’s #marchmeetthemaker is #photography! It’s hard for me! Especially because my paintings are sparkly! But I think I am getting better at it 😬I have a couple cameras, but I’ll be honest, I usually use my phone. I try to take photos from different angles and kind of light to give the feel of the piece. My work is always best experienced in person, though

Day 41

Today’s #marchmeetthemaker prompt is “full time or part time”. I feel lucky enough to say this is my full time gig. I teach privately and paint my butt off in the winter, and I do art fairs in the summer.

This beetle is on the work bench today. I love adding layer, after layer, of my unique watercolors to create texture on these pieces. The beauty of painting on panel, is you can see the texture better than behind glass.

New Work in the Gallery! Check it out.
New Sign!

EEEK, I just ordered a fancy new sign for my art fair booth! Oh, did I mention I am doing a few art fairs this summer!? I am starting to get excited. I have only done a few fairs, and they have been stressful and a ton of work. But I never did it right. I tried to cut corners, showed up  unprepared, and I learned the hard way on a lot of things. I am finally getting a professional set-up and I am going all in, which I think will help the process and sales. More on this later.
