I have always wanted to paint planets. Earth seems like the place to start. It was very difficult the paint, though! I was inspired by the first description of seeing the Earth from space. It’s like a blue marble, about the same size and color. This piece is made out of broken marbles, handmade watercolors, a damselfly, and 24k gold leaf. This piece is framed with separators so that the glass doesn’t touch the surface.
5’’x7’’ in a white frame, and ready to hang on the wall.
